In this tutorial Adil tests Claude Motion with Higgsfield MCP in Claude Code on three levels of motion-graphics work. He recreates a viral Higgsfield launch video from a reference and moves it into After Effects with editable layers, then builds an original launch film that he says took three hours instead of a motion designer's week. Next comes a 3D product ad with a product swap and a Blender export, and finally a pet-passport cartoon where he regenerates only the shots he wants to fix, saving credits. His running advice: give Claude references and a specific brief about motion and scene links.

What is said

The parts of the video and what is said in each (★ — how much it matters to the video).

00:00:00 — Three challenges; open Motion in Claude and connect Higgsfield MCP in Claude Code

  • ★★ Adil says Anthropic has just released Claude Motion and tests it on three levels: matching a viral launch video, building a 3D product ad and making an animated short. — 00:00:00 · Anthropic, Claude
  • ★★ Adil's setup: Claude Motion makes the editable graphics and Higgsfield the generated footage; in Claude go to Artifacts and choose Motion, then on the Higgsfield website open MCP, select Claude Code, copy the command and paste it into the chat. — 00:00:00 · Higgsfield MCP, Claude Code, Claude

00:00:46 — Level 1: recreate a viral Higgsfield launch video from the reference

  • ★★ To recreate one of Higgsfield's viral launch videos frame by frame, Adil uploads it as the reference and asks Claude Motion to rebuild the motion in code, use Higgsfield for the footage and keep it fully editable. — 00:01:08 · Higgsfield AI, Claude
  • ★★★ Adil says giving references to Claude is easily the single best thing you can do to get what you want, and the more specific you are about the goal, the better the chance of a usable result. — 00:01:08 · Claude
  • ★★ In Claude Motion's first try at the launch video the motion already looked great but the footage needed work, so Adil kept the motion and asked Claude to improve the generation, locations and actions. — 00:01:37 · Claude

00:02:19 — Move the project into After Effects with editable layers

  • ★★ After the revision the footage had its own character and the motion still followed the reference launch video closely, closer than Adil expected. — 00:02:19
  • ★★★ Asked to transfer the Claude Motion project into After Effects with editable layers, Claude took some time but succeeded; Adil could then change the text, move elements and adjust the animation in After Effects. — 00:02:19 · Claude, After Effects

00:03:06 — An original launch film from three Instagram videos; editing text, palette and timing

  • ★★ For an original launch film Adil gives Claude Motion three of Higgsfield's viral Instagram videos and asks it to mix their ideas into a new 20-second film, adding Higgsfield's generation skill to guide the asset creation. — 00:03:06 · Instagram, Claude
  • ★★ Adil says he will leave Higgsfield's generation skill in the description for viewers to use. — 00:03:06
  • ★★ Adil would easily use the original launch film for a real launch; he says brands pay thousands of dollars for work like this and it would take an experienced motion designer several days. — 00:03:51 · motion graphics
  • ★★ In the Claude Motion project the elements resize around new text, layers can be hidden, resized or moved, and the palette, font or single colours can be switched to fit a brand. — 00:04:19 · Claude
  • ★★ The Claude Motion video is split into scenes: when Adil lengthens one sequence, the connected scenes shift with it and the music stays in sync, a step that would normally take time adjusting layers by hand in After Effects. — 00:04:45 · After Effects, Claude
  • ★★ Claude built the particle sphere, the moving dot grid and the 3D fan of the launch film all in code, working on six scenes at once before putting the film together. — 00:04:45 · Claude
  • ★★★ Adil says a launch film like this would normally take an experienced motion designer about a week, while with Claude Motion it took three hours and everything in it can still be changed. — 00:04:45 · motion graphics, Claude

00:05:13 — Level 2: a 3D product ad, swapping the truck for a bicycle, converting to Blender

  • ★ Adil says 3D usually means Cinema 4D or Blender, a powerful computer for complex scenes and long rendering. — 00:05:13 · Blender
  • ★★ For the 3D product ad Adil gives Claude a reference and asks it to rebuild the shot in 3D, keeping the rhythm and making it editable. — 00:05:13 · Claude
  • ★★ On the first 3D version Adil asks for smoother camera moves and richer textures, adds Higgsfield's fonts and logos and asks for a 30-second version. — 00:05:43
  • ★★ To swap the product in the 3D ad, Adil only types "replace the truck with this bicycle" and gets the new product in the same style. — 00:06:19 · Claude
  • ★★ Asked to convert the 3D ad for Blender, Claude delivered the whole sequence there, with the shots, the timing and the camera moves, ready for further editing. — 00:06:41 · Claude, Blender
  • ★★ Adil calls the SaaS video the highest-demand style of motion graphics on the market right now. — 00:06:41 · motion graphics

00:07:05 — A SaaS video from earlier references and a custom skill; the brief for a pet-passport cartoon

  • ★★ For the SaaS video Adil added a few references from his previous videos, mapped out his vision and used a custom skill to pull it together. — 00:07:21 · Claude
  • ★★ Adil says the Motion System skill trains Claude to match a brand's exact style. — 00:07:21 · Claude
  • ★★ Adil says Higgsfield is putting all the skills of the SaaS-video workflow in the description. — 00:07:21
  • ★★ For an explainer cartoon inspired by Higgsfield's animated film Passport Rush, a funny airport story about why a pet might need a passport, Adil asked Claude to generate the character animation and voices through Higgsfield. — 00:07:21 · Claude, Higgsfield AI
  • ★★★ Adil advises being specific and detailed about how things move and how scenes connect: the clearer the brief, the less the model has to guess. — 00:07:58

00:08:05 — The pet-passport cartoon

00:08:26 — Level 3 results: regenerate only the shots to fix; fixing the animation with comments

  • ★★ Adil says the pet-passport cartoon took only about two hours. — 00:08:26
  • ★★★ Because the cartoon combines generated clips with editable motion graphics, Adil regenerates only the shots he wants to fix instead of the whole video, which saves credits. — 00:08:26 · motion graphics
  • ★★ To fix details inside the Claude Motion animation, Adil leaves comments on the frames: "Make it one grounded step" for a character hanging in the air, and turning round a clipboard that faces the wrong way. — 00:09:06 · Claude

00:09:50 — A 10-minute version and where to use the workflow

  • ★★ Adil turned the quick cartoon clip into a 10-minute version, with tweaked visuals and an expanded story, built entirely in HTML. — 00:09:50
  • ★★ Adil suggests using the Claude Motion and Higgsfield workflow to launch a faceless channel, for client work, or for explainer videos of your own product. — 00:09:50 · faceless channel, Claude
  • ★ Adil says Claude Motion really impressed him and is already changing what one creator can deliver. — 00:10:18 · Claude
