Wan 2.6 is Alibaba's video model, on Higgsfield since December 2025, taking a script, a voice-over or images as input. Its strength is first-and-last-frame control: given the opening and closing images, it generates everything in between, at about $0.75 per 8-second 720p clip; it is also open-source under Apache 2.0. Adil ranked it D tier in January 2026 as narrow and unreliable, but through 2026 it stays in Higgsfield's lineup and works with Soul ID to keep one face across shots.
